In August 6th 1945, the city of Hiroshima was destroyed instantaneously with the atomic bomb.
Nothing left there due to its heavy radiation and fire. Neighboring cities were also damaged as a result of the World War Ⅱ. However, through the ceaseless efforts of local residents, the region made an impressive recovery.
Now Hiroshima is the center of economics and culture in the Chugoku-Shikoku Region.
